Expo review? Professional and reliable? “HSIM 2007 The Fifth China International Insulating Materials Expo” achieved great success in Shanghai New International Expo Centre during Dec. 5-7, 2007, having attracted 412 participating enterprises from 22 provinces and municipalities around China and 13 countries and regions from the world, with the exhibition area of 11,800 sqm，and 28,260 professional visitors, including 1,365 overseas visitors. It was organized in parallel with more than 20 seminars.
The expo has gathered famous enterprises such as Dow Chemical, Bayer, Wacker, Knauf, Elotex of National Starch, OMS (Italy), BNBM, Hebei Guomei, Jiangyin Qinghua, Hangzhou Fangyuan etc., with significant breakthrough in various data than the previous two years. Such success owes to the brand popularity and influence accumulated by the expo during these years, the increasing enhancement of professional system operation and service concept of the sponsors, and especially benefits from the recognition and support of participating enterprises and professional buyers home and abroad. Now it is a major event of the insulating materials industry which is most influential and favored by the merchants with a good reputation in the industry.

Exhibition details1) Heat preservation materials: heat insulating materials such as rock (mineral) wool, glass wool, alumino-silicate fibre etc., hard thermal insulating materials, such as expanded perlite, calcium silicate, foamglas etc., wall heat preservation materials, plastic and rubber foaming materials, extruded (expanded) polystyrene, phenolic foam, polyurethane heat preservation materials, heat preservation coatings etc., asbestos products and foam asbestos, ground buried pipe, external thermal insulating materials such as aluminum foil; thermal insulating plates, such as color steel plate and related equipments.
2) EPS mechanical equipments, EPS slabs, EPS external wall insulation, EPS moulds, EPS accessories suppliers, EPS machinery accessories suppliers, SM, XPS, PSP etc.
3) Sound insulating and absorbing materials: soundproof walls, sound proof felt, soundproof windows, soundproof sealing tapes, acoustic board , automobile soundproof materials? etc.; acoustic panel, hanging sound absorber, fiber sound absorption materials, acoustic wool, sound absorption wallpaper, sound absorption (insulating) coating and sound absorption doors .
